برای قرون متمادی، موجوداتی بی همتا بر پهنه ی اعماق اقیانوس حکمرانی می کنند. این قلمرو پادشاهی اعماق نام دارد و مورد احترام تمامی هم پیمانانش است. هم پیمانانی که فارغ از هر قوم و نژاد، به قلمروشان عشق می ورزند و برای صیانت سرزمینشان از شر هیولاهای دنیای زیرین، تا پای جان ایستاده اند. اما حکومت Abyss بار دیگر بی کس و کار مانده است، شاید این زمانی باشد که منتظر آن بوده‌اید، که قدرت را در دست بگیرید و صاحب تاج و تخت شوید. هر حیله و مکری که بلدید به کار بگیرید تا رای مجلس به نفع شما تمام شود. بزرگترین لردهای زیر آب‌ها را با خودتان متحد کنید و از قدرت آن‌ها سواستفاده کنید تا کنترل بیشترین  روی مناطق کلیدی داشته باشید. و در نهایت خودتان را به عنوان تنها فرد لایق برای حکومت بر مردم معرفی کنید!Abyss یک بازی بر اساس گسترش، ترکیب و ساخت ست است که در آن بازیکن‌ها سعی می‌کنند که مناطق استراتژیک در یک سرزمین زیرآبی را کنترل کنند. برای رسیدن به این هدف بازیکن ها باید در سه سطح ارتقا پیدا کنند: ابتدا با جمع کردن متحدین بیشتر، سپس از آن‌ها استفاده کنید تا لردهای Abyss را همراه خود کنید، لردهایی که به مناطق مختلف و مهمی دسترسی دارند. بازیکن ها کارت‌ها را به مرور جمع می‌کنند و با استفاده از لردهای روی آن کارت‌ها قدرت های ویژه‌ای بدست می‌آورند. زمانی که یکی از بازیکن‌ها از کارت‌ها برای گرفتن منطقه‌ای استفاده‌ می‌کند، آن قدرت برای دیگر بازیکن‌ها برای مدتی غیر قابل استفاده می‌شود. به همین خاطر بازیکن‌ها باید حواسشان باشد که چه زمانی برای گرفتن یک منطقه اقدام می‌کنند.

The Abyss power is once again vacant, so the time has come to get your hands on the throne and its privileges. Use all of your cunning to win or buy votes in the Council. Recruit the most influential Lords and abuse their powers to take control of the most strategic territories. Finally, impose yourself as the only one able to rule the Abyssal people!

Abyss is a game of development, combination and collection in which players try to take control of strategic locations in an underwater city. To achieve this, players must develop on three levels: first by collecting allies, then using them to recruit Lords of the Abyss, who will then grant access to different parts of the city. Players acquire cards through a draft of sorts, and the Lords of the Abyss acquired on those cards grant special powers to the cardholder — but once you use the cards to acquire a location, that power is shut off, so players need to time their land grabs well in order to put themselves in the best position for when the game ends.
