Champions of Midgard

بردگیم Champions of Midgard یکی از جذاب‌ترین بازی‌های استراتژی در سبک یوروگیم و کارگرگذاری است که با تم جذاب مبارزات وایکینگ‌ها طراحی شده‌است.

سربازها و دشمن‌ها:

سربازها (یا همون وایکینگ‌ها) توی بازی به شکل تاس هستند. سه نوع وایکینگ داریم: شمشیرزن (سفید)، نیزه‌دار (قرمز) و تبرزن (سیاه). این‌ها رو هم با گذاشتن کارگر می‌تونیم بگیریم. دو تای اولی قدرت دفاعی (سپر) دارن اما سومی کاملاً تهاجمیه. روی هر تاس ۱ یا ۲ تا سلاح کشیده شده که وقتی می‌ریزیم تعداد ضربه‌ی اون سرباز رو نشون می‌ده.

هر بازیکن باید توی فاز «کارگرگذاری» مشخص کنه که می‌خواد با کدوم دشمن‌ها بجنگه. بعد، توی فاز «آماده‌سازی برای جنگ» هرکسی تاس‌هایی رو می‌ذاره روی کارت‌های دشمنی که تعیین کرده بود. هر رنگ تاس نشون‌دهنده‌ی یه نوع سربازه: شمشیرزن، کمان‌دار، تبرزن و …  آخرش هم توی فاز«جنگ» هرکسی با دشمن خودش جنگ می‌کنه و آخرش یا می‌بره و افتخار (با چیزهای دیگه) به دست میاره، یا شکست می‌خورده و دست از پا درازتر برمی‌گرده.

بعضی از هیولاها اون‌ور آب هستن و برای رسیدن بهشون باید یه کشتی بخریم یا کرایه کنیم و به همراه مقادیر مناسبی از سرباز و آذوقه به سراغشون بریم. البته سفر دریایی ممکنه بی‌خطر هم نباشه چون وسط راه باید کارت «حوادث» بکشیم و ببینیم آیا دچار بلایی مثل طوفان یا موجودات دریایی خفن می‌شیم یا این‌که همه‌چی آرومه و ما خیلی خوشحالیم. وقتی می‌رسیم اون‌ور آب، تازه جنگ شروع می‌شه و باید هیولا رو از پا دربیاریم. طبیعیه که کشتن هیولاهای اون‌ورِ آن از این‌ورِ آب بیشتر امتیاز داره.

منابع:

توی بازی سه تا منبع اصلی داریم: پول، چوب و غذا که از چند جای متفاوت می‌شه با گذاشتن کارگر به دست بیاریمشون یا به همدیگه تبدیلشون کنیم. برای گرفتن این‌ها نیازی به ریختن تاس نیست. وقتی کارگر رو می‌ذاریم یه جایی، هر چندتا منبع که اون‌جا هست، یا هر چندتایی که روی اون کاشی (تایل) یا کارت نوشته رو ورمی‌داریم.

Champions of Midgard is a middleweight, Viking-themed, worker placement game with dice rolling in which players are leaders of Viking clans who have traveled to an embattled Viking harbor town to help defend it against the threat of trolls, draugr, and other mythological Norse beasts. By defeating these epic creatures, players gain glory and the favor of the gods. When the game ends, the player who has earned the most glory earns the title of Jarl and is recognized as a champion of Midgard!

Placing workers allows for the collection of resources and warriors, which players may then send on journeys to neighboring villages or across the sea to defeat monsters and gain the glory they need for victory. Resources are used to carve runes, build ships, and feed your followers. Viking warriors (custom dice) do battle with the myriad enemies the town faces.
