درباره بازی

در این بازی هر کدام از بازیکنان به عنوان مدیر یک باغ وحش تلاش می‌کنند تا با انجام دادن کارهای مختلف و ایجاد قابلیت‌های متفاوت، لقب بهترین باغ وحش جهان را تصاحب کنند. برای رسیدن به این هدف، در کنار رشد و توسعه‌ی باغ وحش و گردآوری گونه‌های مختلف حیوانی و ساخت زیستگاه‌های متنوع، هر مدیر باید تلاش کند که سلامت گونه‌های در اختیار خود را نیز تامین کرده و نگهداری حیوانات جمع آوری شده را به بهترین نحو ممکن انجام دهد.

روند بازی

بازی آرک نوا  Ark Nova دارای راند‌های مشخص یا دوره‌های معلومی نیست. بلکه در این بازی بازیکنان به نوبت و به صورت ساعتگرد، نفری یک اقدام از بین 5(و گاها 6) اقدام ممکن را انجام می‌دهند تا جایی که شرط پایان بازی فعال شود. البته در میان انجام این مراحل، دوره‌های استراحت(به انگلیسی Break)مختلفی نیز وجود خواهد داشت که با رسیدن نشانگر دوره‌ی استراحت به منطقه‌ی مخصوص فعال خواهند شد. در طول بازی دو نشانگر اصلی مربوط به جذابیت(به انگلیسی Appeal) و نگهداری(به انگلیسی Conservation) وجود دارند که بازیکنان سعی می‌کنند این دو نشانگر خود را با اقدامات مختلف پیش ببرند. این دو نشانگر خلاف جهت هم حرکت می‌کنند!هرکدام از بازیکنان در نوبت خود اجازه دارد یکی از 5 اقدام ممکن را انجام دهد. 5 اقدام ذکر شده مطابق با قابلیت کارت‌ها هستند.

In Ark Nova, you will plan and design a modern, scientifically managed zoo. With the ultimate goal of owning the most successful zoological establishment, you will build enclosures, accommodate animals, and support conservation projects all over the world. Specialists and unique buildings will help you in achieving this goal.

Each player has a set of five action cards to manage their gameplay, and the power of an action is determined by the slot the card currently occupies. The cards in question are:

• CARDS: Allows you to gain new zoo cards (animals, sponsors, and conservation project cards).
• BUILD: Allows you to build standard or special enclosures, kiosks, and pavilions.
• ANIMALS: Allows you to accommodate animals in your zoo.
• ASSOCIATION: Allows your association workers to carry out different tasks.
• SPONSORS: Allows you to play a sponsor card in your zoo or to raise money.

255 cards featuring animals, specialists, special enclosures, and conservation projects, each with a special ability, are at the heart of Ark Nova. Use them to increase the appeal and scientific reputation of your zoo and collect conservation points.
